Now Hiring: Warehouse Material Handler – Graybar, Springfield, MO

Are you looking to join a dependable team in a unique location? Kelly Services is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers for our client in Springfield, MO Distribution Center, located in the climate-controlled Springfield Underground!

Schedule & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 7:30pm
  • Starting at $17.00/hr
  • 40 hours per week, with 1-hour unpaid lunch and two paid breaks
  • Steel-toed boots (covering the ankle) required

What You'll Do:
As a Material Handler, you'll ensure wire products move safely and accurately through our warehouse. You'll use technology—including our Warehouse Management System—to receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory. Tasks include:

  • Operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts*, push carts)
  • Receiving, storing, and sorting materials per warehouse processes
  • Packing, palletizing, and preparing shipments
  • Performing cycle counts and quality checks
  • Maintaining a clean workspace and following all safety procedures

*Forklift experience is not required – if needed, we'll train you!

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Drug test and background check required 
  • 2+ years warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Able to stand for 8 hours and lift varying loads
  • Great attendance, reliable, detail-oriented and safety-conscious
  • Capable of maintaining high accuracy and dependability

Dress Code:

  • Jeans and t-shirts are welcome (no rips/tears)
  • No sweatpants, shorts, or similar attire
  • Steel-toed boots or closed toed work shoes covering the ankle required (PPE provided)

  • 3 weeks vacation start upon hire

  • Pay increases after hire of $0.50–$0.75
