Material Handler / HazMat Field Technician

Location: 11689 Pacific Ave, Fontana, CA 92337
Pay: 18.00p/h
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5pm overtime as required

About the Role - full time, potential temp-to-hire

Material Handler / HazMat Field Technician to support on-site operations involving the handling and processing of regulated biohazard materials. This is a hands-on, physically active role that plays a critical part in maintaining safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. If you're comfortable working in PPE, following strict safety protocols, and performing labor-intensive work, this is a great opportunity with a well-established environmental services organization.

What You'll Do

• Offload, handle, and load biohazard and regulated materials
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment and work areas
• Follow all safety procedures while working in required PPE
• Operate pressure washers, conveyors, and other industrial equipment as assigned
• Support daily operations involving heavy machinery and material movement
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance at all times

What We're Looking For

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
• Comfort working in full PPE, including:
  • Eye protection
  • Composite or steel-toe footwear
  • Cut-resistant gloves
  • Face shields
• Strong attention to safety procedures and detail
• Prior experience in material handling, environmental services, or HazMat work is a plus (but not required)
