Material Handler / HazMat Field Technician
Location: 11689 Pacific Ave, Fontana, CA 92337
Pay: 18.00p/h
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5pm overtime as required
About the Role - full time, potential temp-to-hire
Material Handler / HazMat Field Technician to support on-site operations involving the handling and processing of regulated biohazard materials. This is a hands-on, physically active role that plays a critical part in maintaining safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility. If you're comfortable working in PPE, following strict safety protocols, and performing labor-intensive work, this is a great opportunity with a well-established environmental services organization.
What You'll Do
- Offload, handle, and load biohazard and regulated materials
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment and work areas
- Follow all safety procedures while working in required PPE
- Operate pressure washers, conveyors, and other industrial equipment as assigned
- Support daily operations involving heavy machinery and material movement
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance at all times
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Comfort working in full PPE, including:
- Eye protection
- Composite or steel-toe footwear
- Cut-resistant gloves
- Face shields
- Strong attention to safety procedures and detail
- Prior experience in material handling, environmental services, or HazMat work is a plus (but not required)
