Job Title: Material Handler – Smart Factory
Location: Farmington, CT
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Position Overview We're seeking a reliable Material Handler – Smart Factory to support the Smart Factory Sheet Metal Fabrication area in Farmington, CT. This role manages material movement across production areas, tracks inventory in SAP and Oseon, and assists with fabrication, paint, and welding prep as needed. Responsibilities
- Move, stage, and organize materials to support daily production.
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, or overhead cranes safely.
- Record and track material movements in SAP/Oseon.
- Supply workstations with production jobs and required paperwork.
- Assist with prep tasks in bending, welding, or paint areas.
- Maintain 5S organization and support process improvements.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift or PIV certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills; able to learn SAP/Oseon systems.
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
