Job Title: Material Handling Specialist
Location: Farmington, CT
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Position Overview Seeking a dependable Material Handling Specialist to support the Smart Factory team in Farmington, CT. This role handles all material movements in the sheet metal fabrication area, assists with production prep, and ensures materials are accurately tracked in SAP and Oseon. Responsibilities

  • Move, stage, and track materials across production areas.
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or overhead cranes.
  • Document material movements using SAP/Oseon.
  • Support prep tasks for paint, welding, or bending areas.
  • Maintain 5S standards and safe handling practices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
  • Forklift or PIV experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn SAP/Oseon.
  • Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus.
