Description

Materials Coordinator
Location: Jacksonville, FL - 2nd Shift (Starting at 2 PM)
Pay: $31.00 per hour

Role Overview: As a Materials Coordinator, you will be responsible for the inspection and compliance of incoming and outgoing kits with specifications and usage. This position involves maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety standards within the storage and distribution process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products and maintain records of damaged, defective, shortages of, movement of, and expired products using computer systems.
  • Check inventory records to determine the availability of requested products.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Implement and support quality initiatives throughout the branch.
  • Liaise with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries.
  • Investigate customer complaints and track service levels; troubleshoot any discrepancies.
  • Manage inventories by tracking product movement records, notifying departments when supplies are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal resources for alternative product obtainment (e.g., loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments).
  • Organize, retrieve, or place goods from/into stock received via multiple sources.
  • Arrange merchandise for transport on delivery and return.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in inventory management or related field.
  • Proficiency in computer systems for inventory tracking.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and external personnel.
  • Problem-solving skills for handling customer complaints and discrepancies.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
