What's a Typical Day Like as a Parts Administrator?
As a vital member of our operations team, you will handle a variety of hands-on and administrative tasks that are crucial for keeping our parts and inventory moving smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Parts Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and maintain accurate records through data entry in SAP.
- Purchasing Goods & Services: Create purchase orders to ensure a steady supply of necessary parts.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with shops and vendors to check stock availability, pricing, and alternate part numbers.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to optimize efficiency and reduce shortages.
- Backup Support for Shipping: Provide support to the shipping department as needed.
- Additional Duties: Take on other tasks when assigned to support team objectives.
This Role Might Be A Perfect Fit If You:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Are able to work Tuesday-Saturday, 8am-5pm
- Are physically able to lift up to 40lbs. throughout your shift.
- Bring prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Possess basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a willingness to learn new software programs.
