Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

The Project Material Coordinator is responsible for receiving, sorting, organizing, and managing parts and equipment at the project's office site warehouse facility. This position will work with the construction management team to confirm accurate delivery of orders and prepare orders for pickup and delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and skilled in both fork truck operations and administrative inventory tasks using Microsoft suite products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy of shipments and documentation.
- Label and sort parts/equipment by contract number for future use.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and internal inventory systems.
- Coordinate material issuance and returns to support construction activities.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout for efficient material flow and space utilization.
- Communicate with Construction Manager and Contractors to ensure timely material availability.
- Track and reconcile physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with company standards.
- Support other warehouse or administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in material coordination, warehouse, or inventory control roles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or supply chain coursework a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, inventory tracking) and Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling.
- Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
- Other Requirements: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., attention to detail, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset.
Work Environment:
Warehouse or plant setting with frequent forklift and equipment operation. Occasional outdoor work and moderate physical activity required.
