Title: Mechanical Production Associate
Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour
Location: Ladson, SC
Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Overtime on Fridays)
Duration: Direct hire
 
 
Job Duties:
 

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment, promptly notifying the manager when replenishment is needed.
• Perform installation of vehicle accessories and disassemble/reassemble vehicles as required.
• Wire vehicles according to specifications, including adjusting, repairing, and replacing wiring and relays in ignition, lighting, and safety control systems (preferred).
• Conduct electronic troubleshooting and perform automotive maintenance tasks.
• Document all service and installation actions in accordance with company standard operating procedures.

 
Skills & Abilities:
 

• Preference given to individuals with background experience in vocational school, automotive, trade school, or auto dealer environments.
• Proficiency in working with automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong comfort level with a variety of power tools, including bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, soldering irons, micro torches, drills, screw guns, utility knives, and air saws.
• Ability to accurately measure and use a tape measure.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints is preferred.
• Capability to work with chemicals safely.
• Body Shop experience preferred.
• Passion for manual work and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Required a valid and active driver's license.
