Medical Technologist

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Certified Medical Technologist for a direct-hire position at a cutting-edge client in Wyoming. Salary: $52,000.00 to $85,000.00

This client is an industry-leading company that's leading the way in comprehensive, coordinated healthcare delivery. The Certified Medical Technologist plays a vital role in performing and analyzing a wide range of laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. You'll be working with advanced laboratory instruments and collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results. Responsibilities:

  • Collect, prepare, and label patient samples, specimens, and cultures in accordance with established laboratory protocols.
  • Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, chemistry, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as microscopes, analyzers, and cell counters.
  • Maintain quality control systems and verify the accuracy and reliability of all test results.
  • Record, interpret, and report test results promptly and accurately to healthcare providers.
  • Follow all laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance policies.
  • Identify and resolve technical problems or irregularities in testing and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Monitor laboratory supplies and reagents to maintain adequate inventory.
  • Participate in research and development activities and assist in training new lab personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT/MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting required.
  • Strong working knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and diagnostic testing methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Sound understanding of infection control and laboratory safety protocols.
