Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temp to hire opportunity for a Medical Lab Technician OR Medical Technologist in Greenwood, IN! 

Shift: M-F | 8am-5pm
Pay: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience
A Temp to Hire Opportunity

Role Overview: Coordinate and perform complex lab tests for diagnosing and treating diseases, including processing patient samples and operating lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and accession patient samples.
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic).
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment.
  • Prepare reagents and solutions.
  • Evaluate and release test results.
  • Participate in instrument installation and test procedure evaluation.
  • Train new staff and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Medical Technologist: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology plus certification as a Medical Technologist.
  • Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate degree plus certification as a Medical Lab Technician, or equivalent educational experience per CLIA standards. Minimum 2 years in a medical laboratory.
Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Positive, professional attitude.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and handling of light objects. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Professional lab setting with standard equipment.
Travel:
  • Primarily local during business hours; minimal overall travel.
