ThermoFisher Scientific is seeking a diligent Packaging Technician (Contingent) to join our Repack-Labeling department in Ward Hill, MA. This hands-on role focuses on repackaging and labeling of products to ensure quality and compliance with our rigorous standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a collaborative production environment. Key Responsibilities

• Repackage products according to company and customer specifications.
• Accurately apply labels and verify correctness and legibility.
• Perform routine quality control checks on all processed items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Safely operate packaging and labeling equipment.
• Report equipment issues or product discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Complete documentation and logs with accuracy.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred, not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including possible overtime and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, or move for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts/tools.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, temperature changes, and product scents.
