Automotive Parts Vendor Consultant
Pay: $21/hour
Shift: 6:30am-3pm (flexible start time as late as 8am if required)
Duration: Long term contingent (working through Kelly Services with no contracted-end date
Position Summary
This person will manage and interact with suppliers/vendors to track orders, follow up, and adjust delivery projections accordingly. This person will also set up all the general stores new hires by sending in the IT tickets for their system access/credentials, as well as process termination forms.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daily activities including: late vendor PO follow-up, part setup, adding and removing obsolete parts from SAP, supply ordering, and vendor email/phone support
- Administrative functions for shipping/receiving groups
- Security access requests for 3rd party new hires/terminations
- Help manage $80M spare parts inventory
- Work with shops and vendors to understand critical part lead time
- Manage multiple Maintenance Spare Part (MSP) change requests
- Lead time follow up for late critical spare parts
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Valid Indiana driver's license required
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Power BI experience is a plus
- SAP inventory management experience is a plus
