Now Hiring: Contract Payroll Administrator
Pay Rate: $29/HourPosition Overview:
- Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (in-office)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Length of Assignment: 3 months (dependent on business need)
- Location: Central Pacific Plaza, 220 South King St., 8th Floor/Suite #870, Honolulu, HI 96813, United States
- Note: Parking will not be provided.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Timely and accurate preparation and processing of payroll in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist employees and managers with troubleshooting and resolving any payroll-related issues.
- Handle preparation and reconciliation of general ledger worksheets, payroll journals, tax reporting, and benefit/payroll tax payments.
- Prepare and distribute required tax reporting documents, including W-2s.
- Coordinate efforts between payroll, HR, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure proper payroll processing.
- Administer HRIS payroll and timekeeping modules.
- Provide input, analysis, and recommendations for process improvement related to HR and payroll functions.
- Assist with responding to internal and external audit inquiries and data requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience:
- Payroll Administrator I: 1+ years of Human Resources and/or Payroll experience required.
- Additional years of experience may qualify for a higher-level position.
- Proficiency in the use of ADP Workforce Now preferred.
