Kelly Services is looking for US Payroll Specialist for the Downtown Dallas area.
MUST HAVE RECENT PAYROLL EXPERIENCE, 3-5years.
 
Location: Downtown Dallas
Temp/Contract
M-F, 8am-5pm/Hybrid
Pay rate - $35hr
 
Support all US payroll activities, Time Attendance. With a customer centric focus, maintain all case management tickets in a timely and accurate manner and develop outstanding relationships based on delivery and trust.
 
Essential Functions
 

  • Responsible for the preparation of the clients multi-state semi-monthly payroll and special payroll processing on-demand, commissions, bonuses, etc. utilizing
  • Managed Services with Dayforce for approximately 1200 employees.
  • Administration and coordination efforts between HR Operations and BPO provider to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data including preparation/distribution of detailed reports, e.g. overtime, leave balances, and 401 k retirement contribution reports .
  • Monitor submissions of approved timesheets, ensure valid data transfers to/from payroll service.
  • Ensure all audits and governance in relations to payroll is actioned each payroll and escalated as needed.
  • Manage the 401k filings and ensure all required actions and governance is adhered to.
  • Support Payroll Case management escalations and responses are within the agreed SLA/KPI.
  • Responsible for the company's relocation program and policies; manage daily relocation activities; work closely with internal and external parties to deliver quality services; align program with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide navigational support to employees for self-service channels.
  • Help update all PSC payroll relevant work instructions.
  • Ensure all reporting agreed with Finance is shared accurately and timely.
  • Partner with BPO provider to ensure high quality results and solutions are maintained and any issues resolved in a timely manner and root cause defined to ensure no duplication of issue.
  • Support building a global Compliance and Audit - ensuring all processes and functional have correct approval and supporting documents.
  • Ad hoc duties as required
 
Requirements
 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of RECENT work-related experience in Human Resources/Payroll Services
  • Customer service orientation, combining theory with practical needs of the business.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and drive results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skills in building and manipulating Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to all levels in the organization, both verbally and in writing.
