Lead Operations: Direct compounding, sanitization, and chemical room activities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Drive Performance: Manage team development, from hiring and training to coaching and performance reviews.

Champion Compliance: Ensure all operations meet GMP, company, and regulatory standards; oversee documentation, CAPAs, and deviations.

Budget & Planning: Develop and manage the department's annual budget, aligning resources with production demands.

Safety First: Promote and enforce OSHA safety standards; identify and eliminate risks while improving workflows.

Strategic Partner: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Production) to align compounding activities with overall business goals.

Process Improvement: Identify and execute on continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma principles.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Material Science or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of management experience in personal care or cosmetics manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of compounding techniques, formulations, and GMP-regulated environments.

Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies strongly preferred.

Strong Communicator: Ability to clearly articulate goals, issues, and solutions across all levels of the organization.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and execute under pressure.

Digital Fluency: Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP or industry-specific software knowledge is a plus.

Must be comfortable working in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

Requires both repetitive and varied physical activities.
