Kelly is hiring!
We are seeking an experienced Personal Tax Preparer to support our clients team during the 2025 tax season. This is an on-site, client-facing role focused on preparing accurate personal tax returns while delivering clear, professional service to a diverse client base, including many long-standing rural and farming clients. Strong English communication skills are essential to ensure clients fully understand their tax filings and recommendations.
Please note: this is a 6 week assignment starting mid March.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file personal income tax returns for the 2025 tax season using Profile Tax Software.
  • Review tax documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CRA requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to gather information, explain tax returns, and answer questions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to privacy standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines during peak periods.
  • Provide a positive, patient, and approachable client experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work weekdays and weekends as required throughout the 6-week tax season.
Schedule & Hours:
  • Approximately 44 hours per week.
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods.
  • Weekend availability is mandatory.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven experience preparing personal tax returns.
  • Proficiency with Profile Tax Software is required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong English language proficiency (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a calm, easy-going demeanor.
  • Ability to work on-site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB for the duration of the assignment.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
