Job Title: Powder Coat I (3rd Shift)
Job Summary:
Join a dynamic team as a Powder Coat I on our 3rd shift, where your meticulous attention to detail will play a crucial role in the preparation and painting of components and products. Job Specifications:

  • Location: Portage, MI
  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
  • Shift: 3rd Shift M-F 10pm – 6am
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Skillfully operate powder coat equipment for product painting and preparation.
  • Follow detailed instructions to ensure precise part specifications are met.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and quantity in production processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including good housekeeping and ergonomics.
  • Engage in workplace organization and training procedures, promoting cross-training and teamwork.
  • Regularly perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to commit to work schedules, including potential overtime and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and capability to follow verbal instructions.
  • Physical stamina for repetitive tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.
  • Demonstrated safety and quality mindset, with proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn new processes and equipment.
  • Team-oriented with skills in documentation and collaboration.
