Pay Rate: $19-23/HR
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM
Duration: permanent position with benefits
Location: Rockland, MA

What's a typical day as a Press Setup/Operator? You'll be:
• Setting up and running large and small automatic and manual presses
• Using a wide variety of dies and different types of materials to stamp required piece parts
• Pulling job orders, selecting proper die, and adjusting servo for proper material height into die
• Loading material onto unwind stand and running it through material straightener
• Maintaining SPC Data sheets on selected orders
• Checking all piece parts for proper dimensions
• Maintaining equipment by checking oil levels, greasing, and checking for loose or worn parts
• Setting up and running in-die tapping dies and checking all parts for proper thread
• Ensuring good quality and a clean and safe work area at all times
• Utilizing pallet jack, hydraulic forklift, and other related equipment for material handling
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have specialized training beyond high school in the operation of presses and related equipment
• Have one to three years of relevant machine shop experience
• Are capable of using micrometers, verniers, indicators, and reading blueprints
• Are forklift certified
• Are able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs
