Join the Kelly® Professional & Industrial team as a Production Helper III / Production Worker III with Smurfit WestRock, a global leader in sustainable, paper-based packaging solutions supporting consumer goods, food & beverage, and e-commerce industries.

Pay Rate: $21.56 per hour
Location: Blue Springs, MO 64014
Schedule: 3rd Shift – Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Must be available for overtime (up to 12 hours per day) and occasional Saturdays
Assignment Length: 2-month contract (No Extension)

What's a typical day as a Production Helper III? You will:
  • Safely operate manufacturing equipment while following detailed work instructions

  • Perform machine make-ready and shutdown procedures

  • Conduct quality inspections and verify inspection criteria

  • Handle product identification and labeling accurately

  • Maintain waste reduction and efficiency standards

  • Inspect equipment for proper operation and report issues promptly

  • Perform housekeeping, cleaning, and organization with minimal supervision

  • Support overall production flow in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience (preferred)

  • Experience working in a safety-sensitive environment

  • Willingness to work overtime, flexible shifts, and weekends as needed

  • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16”), perform basic math, and use basic computer systems

  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions

  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, kneel for the entire shift

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
