Description

Kelly is hiring Production Operator-Paint Line Operator on behalf of a leading manufacturer of custom metal and plastic retail displays and fixtures serving retail stores, hospitals, and pharmacies. This role is responsible for operating the in-house powder coating line, including preparing, loading, coating, and finishing metal components. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $16.00+ per hour Based on Experience
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the powder coat spray booth in accordance with production requirements and safety standards
  • Load and unload parts onto and off the paint line
  • Perform powder color changeovers and line purges to ensure color accuracy and quality consistency
  • Operate forklift equipment to move, stage, and transport materials as needed
  • Follow established procedures to meet production schedules, quality specifications, and safety guidelines
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment required
  • Powder coating experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
