Production Technician I
Position Type: Approximately 18 months
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040
Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Role Summary
The Production Associate I supports product development and manufacturing by performing diverse and complex manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations with limited supervision. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments with small, delicate components.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform machine processing operations including dicing and grinding, including setup and data entry

Conduct manufacturing and assembly operations across multiple product lines

Handle small, delicate parts such as laminations, probes, components, and transducers
-
Perform equipment setup and first-piece inspections to ensure quality standards are met

Read and follow work instructions, schematics, and process documentation

Maintain accurate production and documentation records
-
Support quality inspections and testing activities as required
-
Maintain daily production output and meet team goals
-
Communicate opportunities for EHS, Quality, and process improvements
-
Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers
-
Support development and validation of new products, methods, tools, and test equipment
-
Participate in LEAN, quality initiatives, and training sessions
-
Other duties as assigned

Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
-
Experience with small-part manufacturing
-
Machining experience such as dicing or grinding
-
Cleanroom or controlled-environment experience
-
Ability to multitask and follow detailed procedures
-
Basic computer skills
-
Ability to lift and handle tools or materials weighing 25 lbs or less
-
Microchip, Semiconductor, or Medical Device manufacturing experience
-
Experience using height gauges, calipers, and microscopes
(Contractors must confirm and sign acknowledgment of ability to meet these requirements prior to offer)

Ability to perform detail-oriented work and meet deadlines

Lift, carry, and move up to 35 lbs (floor to waist, waist to shoulder/crown, and horizontally)

Frequent grasping, fine manipulation, neck rotation and flexion

Occasional pushing/pulling and reaching above/below shoulder height
-
Rare stooping, bending, squatting, and balancing
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
