Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Project Manager near Deerfield, IL.

Long term contract
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Hybrid schedule 
Compensation: $50-$70/hr based on experience 

Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you'll spearhead the helm of high-impact compliance initiatives spanning across diverse global business units and functions. Your role is pivotal in collaborating with program managers and project teams to delineate the business case, scope, schedule, and resource allocation. With unwavering accountability, you'll navigate the execution phase, meticulously monitoring and controlling every facet of the project's trajectory. Collaboration is key, as you'll work hand-in-hand with project leads and program managers to sculpt teams, define milestones, and ensure seamless resource management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Craft and implement project strategies aligned with overarching program goals, providing clear direction to meet internal and stakeholder expectations.
  • Effective Communication: Interact seamlessly across all levels of management, ensuring transparent communication of priorities and progress updates to maintain alignment with agreed-upon plans.
  • Performance Accountability: Take ownership of core team performance and program execution, with a keen eye on project schedules and potential risks, promptly escalating as necessary.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and resilience.
  • Conflict Resolution: Navigate potential conflicts adeptly, seeking win-win solutions to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive business excellence through the relentless pursuit of operational improvement, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations or related discipline, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or medical manufacturing, with a solid grasp of GMP regulations.
  • Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred, showcasing your commitment to professional excellence.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated strong leadership skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Global Competence: Ability to navigate and thrive in a virtual environment characterized by diverse backgrounds, cultures, and time zones.
