Position Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $18.74–$24.00/hour
About the Role: Kelly is hiring on behalf of a respected health insurance client for a Provider Network Representative. This is a training role where you will learn to perform key provider servicing and network operations functions in a supportive, team-driven environment.
Candidates must have their own equipment or be issued supplier equipment to work from home; otherwise, this position will remain onsite. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide information and resolve issues for practitioners regarding claims, contracts, pricing, and network participation.
- Support and deliver training to provider staff on processes and systems.
- Submit reports on provider service and recruitment activities.
- Respond to provider fee requests.
- Assist with database management, reports, and statistical analyses relating to managed care networks.
- Help investigate and resolve systemic issues and claim problems.
- Review provider directories for accuracy.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with internal departments and external provider contacts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contract language, pricing, benefits, claims, and related processes.
- Process provider change forms and maintain tracking systems.
- Prepare orientation and application packets for providers.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity, and Corporate Integrity policies.
- Communicate ongoing developments and perform special projects as requested.
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of experience in the health care or insurance industry
- At least 3 years' experience in Network Management, Credentialing, and/or Customer Service
- Strong understanding of health care contracts, products, and applications
- Working knowledge of claims processing systems
- Minimum of 3 years' experience using a PC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, organizational and teamwork abilities
- Experience working under deadlines and pressure
