Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified, full-time, temporary to potential permanent QA Specialist for one of our clients. The position is in St. Louis, MO, and the need to fill this position is immediate.

Summary of the Position:
The QA specialist ensures company and customer quality standards are being met. This role will work under the supervision of the QA manager where they will conduct internal audits, manage vendors, investigate CAPAs, and assist in implementation of quality process and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining compliance and quality standards according to CAP/CLIA and ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management System.
  • Qualifying vendors and service providers and maintaining records for vendor management.
  • Performing internal audits according to ISO 13485:2016 QMS.
  • Investigating and maintaining CAPA documentation.
  • Assisting QA manager with external audits and requests for information.
  • Other duties as determined by the QA manager.

Qualifications/Education/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or related field preferred; however, experience is of upmost importance
  • Auditing experience a huge plus in the medical device industry
  • Previous experience in a similar or transferrable skilled role.
  • Working knowledge of CLIA Standards.
  • Experience with an ISO 13485:2016 Quality Management System.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
Pay: Based on experience and flexible

Hours: Mon - Fri, 8A – 5P - this position is fully onsite with no remote or hybrid options.
