Quality Assurance Associate

Location: Savannah, GA
Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 6 AM - 3:45 PM
Pay: $16/hr

Overview:
Join our team as a Quality Assurance Associate where you will ensure the integrity of our inventory operations, help implement quality control measures, and assist the Quality Assurance Manager in various tasks related to company compliance and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the QA Manager in quality assurance activities
  • Review company procedures to ensure compliance
  • Identify discrepancies and validate raw data
  • Prepare standards for quality measurement
  • Conduct audits and analyze findings
  • Compile data into management reports
  • Assist in corrective action tasks
  • Optimize pick locations through slot profiling
  • Perform cycle counts and other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to read and write effectively, with basic math skills
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to learn company products and technology swiftly
  • Familiarity with digital hand-held devices
  • Capable of multi-tasking and performance-driven work
  • Experience in material control

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to maintain high standards in varied climates (temperature controlled and non-controlled environments)
  • Occasionally work in refrigerated areas
  • Tolerate moderate noise and some dust/fumes

Physical Requirements:

  • Reliable attendance
  • Frequent operation of pallet jacks or forklifts
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach, lift, and carry throughout the day
  • Capable of lifting 50-65 lbs, including overhead lifting
  • Must have specific vision capabilities for distance and close proximity tasks
