Kelly Services is seeking an energetic, skilled? Quality Control candidate. This is an In-line Tech position on 3rd shift for food processing openings in Yates County.  Easily accessible from Canandaigua, Geneva and Penn Yan, NY. 3 to 4 twelve hour days/wk.  $19.25/hr 3 Day weekends every other week!
 
JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling products, examining packaging, testing finished products, checking and recording processing parameter information and ensure food safety, legality and quality.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sample product and ensure quality through physical, chemical and sensory evaluation
• Sample packaging and ensure integrity through visual and tear-down examinations
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging formats
• Ensure proper processing through checking and recording parameters

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School / GED required
• 2-3 years' experience or equivalent employment preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Working extended periods of time standing
• Excellent communication skills and working as part of a team
• Six months to one year in food industry experience preferred
