Position Title: Quality Control Analyst
Position Type: 6-month contract
Pay rate: $30-45/hour
Position Overview
We're seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QC Analyst to join our client's innovative team at our upcoming state-of-the-art QC laboratory in Thousand Oaks, CA. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of gene therapy therapeutics in a rapidly growing organization. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring excellence through robust laboratory operations and precise product testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Excellence: Meticulously compile and review data for quality, consistency, and accuracy, ensuring the highest standards in every report.
- Microbiological Mastery: Conduct essential microbiological testing, including environmental monitoring, gowning assessments, and manufacturing processes, backed by data analysis and entry in LIMS.
- Product Assurance: Execute product release testing with precision to support Capsida's manufacturing, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP compliance.
- Innovation & Validation: Contribute to the development and validation of equipment and test methods, creating and evaluating protocols, reports, and SOPs.
- Rigorous Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records while interpreting data trends and technical evaluations with expertise.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure seamless laboratory operations through equipment maintenance, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in projects that enhance operational efficiency and the overall quality landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or relevant Life Sciences discipline.
- A solid understanding of QC principles in microbiology, particularly in environmental monitoring, bioburden assessments, and microbial identification.
- Proficiency in cGMP environments, with hands-on experience in method and equipment validation.
- Stellar documentation skills coupled with strong protocol writing and revision capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational acumen, and the agility to manage projects effectively.
- Collaborative spirit with a positive attitude towards achieving ambitious project goals.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (21 CFR, USP, EP, ICH).
- Experience in analytical operations and preparation for audits and inspections.
