Description

At Kelly®, we're seeking a Quality Control Technician to work at Laird in Carlsbad, CA. This opportunity could be the one you've been looking for.

Pay Rate: $21.75 hourly
Schedule: Mon-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Attendance Bonus paid weekly- $80 additional per pay/per week for perfect attendance.

Quality Control Technician:
• Assisting with periodic product audits/inspections on running parts and conducting final shipment audits
• Supporting defect investigation and analysis
• Performing first article sample submission (AS9102) and maintaining high detail-oriented documentation processes
• Acquiring knowledge necessary to interpret internal and customer specifications to determine acceptable from rejectable products
• Updating changes to customer specification criteria as directed
• Ensuring all necessary inspection records accompany shipments, including detailed documentation on products requiring Source Inspections
• Supporting the team when coordinating calibration of measurement equipment if required
• Assisting Quality Assurance Engineers and Manager as needed
• Adhering to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards
• Performing other related duties and assignments as required

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a minimum of 5 years of Quality Inspector experience in manufacturing
• Are proficient in AS9100 Aerospace Standard, other  manufacturing related standards (e.g., TS16949, etc.)
• Have experience with First Article documentation and preparation (AS9102)
• Can read and interpret blueprints with close attention to detail
• Possess the ability to use precision measuring instruments and operate inspection/lab test equipment
• Have computer skills including spreadsheet, word processing, and database management software
• Demonstrate data analysis skills and problem-solving skills consistent with 8-Discipline technique
• Have good written and oral communication skills as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Have a background in RF and/or Electrical field (preferred)
• Have fundamental knowledge of mathematical concepts
• Have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work and ability to lift and carry 20 pounds frequently
• Have a high school diploma with additional technical courses, CQT or CMI preferred
