Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$19.00 per hour

What's a typical day as a Quality Control Technician? You'll be:
• Conducting production line inspections for quality attributes such as net weights, seal integrity, label control, code date, and metal detector verifications
• Performing allergen changeover inspections on all water washes
• Conducting batch checks in X3
• Writing investigation reports for incidents that occur
• Placing products on hold as needed for quality or food safety deficiencies
• Enforcing GMP's on the floor
• Providing support for QC responsibilities at the Crete facility
• Supporting a customer base by providing COA's, sending products out for testing, or completing in-house testing
• Lifting up to 50-60 pounds
• Conducting duties in a timely manner
• Performing environmental monitoring at the Crete facility
• Managing the Hold and Release process
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in quality control preferable in the food industry
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
• Are able to lift up to 50-60 pounds
• Have the ability to work Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 4:30pm, with rotating Saturdays from 6:00am to 11:30am
