Microbiology Technician -Biotechnology
1st Shift

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting for several Microbiology Technicians in Memphis, TN 38118.  This role is responsible for performing routine environmental monitoring sampling in clean rooms, adhering to good documentation practices, and being gown qualified.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs environmental monitoring, including air viable particulate, non-viable particulate, surface sampling, and personnel monitoring.
• Receives raw materials and supplies for the QC laboratory and maintains laboratory supplies, media, and reagents inventory.
• Adheres to standard operating procedures and good documentation practices to ensure data integrity and traceability.
• Participates in maintaining proper overall operation of department physical inventories, logs, documentation, filing, etc.
• Assists with routine laboratory upkeep and organization.
• Utilizes GMP systems such as MODA and other laboratory computer systems.
• Reviews test results of other QC analysts for accuracy and precision and maintains an efficient workflow of all required testing documentation, ensuring timely submission relative to product release dates.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology or relevant scientific discipline preferred
• Microbiology experience or coursework is preferred but not required
• Various work shifts: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday
• Must be equipped (Gown) to work in a clean room environment
• Hourly pay rate: $22.00 per hour/Weekly Pay
