Global Brand Protection Sample Management Analyst - Part TIme
2-3 days onsite

Wednesday and Tuesday or Thursday.  Monday occasionally.
Pay is up to 28.50 depending on experience

Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the general operations and capabilities of the Global Brand Protection (GBP) lab.  This includes sample management (inventory management, check-in/check-out procedures, chain of custody), sample inspections (visual inspection, artwork & packaging forensics, photography, authentication), data entry and preparation of an inspection report.  Supports the development of efficient procedures and practices for sample management, inspections and reporting (e.g. SOPs, work instructions, forms, automation).  This role involves coordination with other brand protection associates and Quality with regards to product samples to directly support evidentiary case management.    The key focus is on GBP Lab procedures, sample management, sample inspections and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage samples (inventory management, check-in/check-out procedures, chain of custody) according to procedures.
  • Sample Inspections (visual inspection, artwork & packaging forensics, photography), data entry with the preparation of a suspect product assessment report and other reports involving forensic analysis.
  • Development of efficient procedures and practices for sample management, analysis and reporting (e.g. SOPs, work instructions, forms, automation).
  • Coordination with other brand protection associates and Quality with regards to product samples to directly support evidentiary case management.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors' Degree or equivalent
  • Experience writing Technical reports and Process Documents (e.g. lab reports, SOPs)
  • Experience with data analysis, digital image cataloging and annotation
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work with high degree of accuracy
  • Technical acumen with strong organization and process thinking skills
  • Able to adapt to changing situations, learn new skills quickly, should have strong time management and prioritization skills and able to work independently and under minimal supervision.

Desired Qualifications
  • Quality Lab Inspection experience (or equivalent, e.g. Forensics lab)
  • Experience with basic lab procedures.
  • Sample / Inventory Management experience
