Position Summary:
The Director of Quality will oversee and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of quality for our automotive and electronic systems products. This leader will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, and fostering a culture of uncompromising quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the company's quality strategy, policies, and objectives for automotive and electronic systems manufacturing.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing quality team across multiple global locations.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO 26262, and other relevant industry standards.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues using proven methodologies (8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Partner with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to implement design- and process-based quality controls and validations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to product quality throughout the value chain.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, customer audits, and interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics (KPIs), reporting to executive leadership on a regular basis.
  • Champion continuous improvement and problem-solving culture organization-wide.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced certifications (CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc.) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive quality leadership in automotive and/or electronic systems manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF16949, APQP, PPAP, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated success implementing and improving quality management systems and leading change initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
