Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

What's a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:
• Conducting quality inspections of materials and processes using measuring and test equipment
• Making quality acceptance decisions and carrying out necessary follow-up actions
• Administering and monitoring the internal audit process
• Maintaining quality records from audit findings
• Preparing and distributing metrics
• Participating in the 8D corrective actions programs
• Performing daily process audits and keeping records in Excel spreadsheets
• Taking pictures of products as required and storing them appropriately
• Training to become a quality system auditor and conducting scheduled quality system audits based on ISO9001
• Using SAP for certain quality-related tasks
• Following work instructions and ensuring they are up to date
• Assisting with training for quality and other employees as needed
• Assisting with root cause analysis for quality issues from customers and internally
• Cross-training in all quality auditor processes, including other Louisville work sites

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have problem-solving abilities
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Are proficient in inspection techniques
• Can easily apply computer skills to communicate audit/inspection results
• Have experience using SAP and the latest MS Office applications
• Demonstrate excellent accuracy
• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
