About the Position Kelly Team Members are at the heart of delivering exceptional service at our client's Automotive center in East Tawa, MI. Our Quality Inspectors ensure that every part meets the highest standards—your work directly supports maintaining seamless operations through careful attention to detail and data accuracy.
Looking for workers to start ASAP
- Drug Screening and Criminal Check Required
- Perform sorting, inspecting, and production tasks, including accurate data entry.
- Read and precisely follow work instructions, rules, and directives.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, inspecting incoming materials and products for adherence to specifications.
- Operate inspection, measurement, and testing equipment as required (e.g., calipers, micrometers, force gauges, pin gauges).
- Use small tools and equipment for inspection tasks.
- Complete and understand all mandatory ongoing training courses.
- Adhere to all employee policies; perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of handheld devices like tablets.
- Pay extreme attention to detail and ensure accurate documentation in all quality assurance databases.
- Consult with Team Lead, Supervisor, or Talent Advisor for technical questions or clarification.
- Consistently observe safety and security procedures and promote safety processes.
- Complete safety audits and WIS before starting each job, ensuring work areas are safe and compliant.
- Identify and report deficiencies to the Operations Team for prompt correction.
- Inspect manufactured products for defects and alignment with specifications and quality standards.
- Adaptable and flexible in changing circumstances.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and motivated attitude.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must own CSA approved safety shoes.
- Take ownership of work quality and demonstrate responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Document and tag all non-conformance parts; scan and label all products.
- Complete daily stock inspection reports accurately.
