SUMMARY
Carry out inspection tasks across Receiving Inspection for electrical and mechanical parts, as well as throughout In-process and Final product stages. Assess, audit, and document the quality standards of both incoming and outgoing goods, confirming fulfillment of customer quality expectations—such as fit, form, function, appearance, and punctual shipment delivery. Identify and segregate nonconforming items, ensuring all associated documentation and data entry for non-conformance reports are completed with accuracy. Adhere to procedures outlined in IPC 600, IPC 610, and/or J-Std-001 (latest versions), following Quality System work instructions. Review and interpret a range of customer and technical documents—including drawings, blueprints, Bills of Material (BOM), datasheets, specifications, and related materials—as needed for inspection duties. Overtime work may be required. Train across departments and take on additional assignments as directed by Quality Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete comprehensive final inspections, confirming quality standards for materials and processes are satisfied before products ship to customers; record all acceptances and discrepancies; coordinate with Production, Inside Sales, Engineering, Program Management, and customer representatives.
  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections in Receiving Inspection and related departments, confirming incoming Turn-Key material and outsourced services meet quality requirements; maintain quality records to support evaluation of both vendor and internal process performance; research customer history and utilize experience for judgment-based part approvals; use independent initiative and discretion when addressing challenges outside specified responsibilities.
