Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a Quality Manager in Louisville, KY!

Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility
A Direct Hire Opportunity

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manage plant food safety systems to eliminate/mitigate food safety threats and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of production equipment and its impact on quality. Assist in new product development and oversee QC Lab and systems.
• Provide on-site assistance to customers, resolve complaints, and oversee customer sampling program.
• Serve as backup for Plant Manager and contribute to plant leadership team.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in food manufacturing management with demonstrated success in Quality roles.
• Strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, ability to think critically.
• Self-directed with the ability to manage associates and work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Certification in Lean/Six-Sigma desired.
