Description
Our client is seeking a Quality Technician for our Franklin, NH facility. The Quality Technician will inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards. Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law. Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.

Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $2/hr and above, plus shift differentials (15%)
3rd Shift: 11pm-7:00am, Sunday-Thursday
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of product acceptance through inspection of raw materials, purchased parts, in-process and finished products, including dock audits and first article inspections.
- Audit production processes, including first-piece, frequency, setup, routing, 5S, and safety audits, as applicable.
- Train machine operators in product inspection as needed.
- Demonstrate expertise in the use of inspection tools.
- Process and inspect Returned Goods (RAs), including data entry and communication.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Apply Lean Six Sigma (LSS) concepts to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and maintain compliance with ISO standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely quality documentation.
- Work extended hours as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Contribute to team results and complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Honest, reliable, and conscientious.
- Comprehension of high school-level math, reading, and writing.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and E2 database.
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures in the Quality Department.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication and machining blueprints, including basic GD&T.
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to perform physical tasks (walking, bending, climbing, lifting, standing).
- Experience using hand tools and inspection instruments.
- Capacity for visual inspection and reading measurement tools.
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
- Exposure to loud noises.
- Regular requirement to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about the facility.
- Regularly operate computers and related accessories.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, reaching, and carrying.
