Quality Technician
Pay: $20–$25 per hour
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday, daytime shifts (8 hours per day)
- Location: Savannah, GA
As a Quality Technician reporting to the site Quality Lead, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting on materials, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality standards. You will also support the implementation of corrective actions to enhance company performance. This position works Monday to Friday, daytime shifts (8 hours per day).
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and audit outgoing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Record and maintain inspection and audit data
- Conduct Layer Process Audits and monitor process controls
- Perform incoming material inspections
- Educate and support production personnel regarding quality standards
- Ensure reworked materials comply with specifications
- Collaborate with team members to investigate and eliminate defects, initiating corrective actions as needed
- Calibrate measuring equipment
- Assist with the investigation and analysis of reported quality issues and help identify root causes
- Advocate for quality expectations within the facility
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a quality-related position
- Post-secondary education in management, engineering, or manufacturing is an asset
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and motivated self-starter
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient with MS Office and computer literacy
- Flexible approach to work schedules as required
