Location: Phoenixville, PA
Schedule: June 16 – July 31, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Position Type: Contract | School-Based Setting
What You'll Do:
Join a collaborative school team to provide essential medical support for students during summer programming. This role focuses on health monitoring, medication administration, and ensuring student safety throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage students with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM)
• Administer inhalers (including multiple variations) and other prescribed medications
• Track and document medication administration per school protocols
• Respond to health emergencies and communicate with families and staff as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized health station
Requirements:
• Active RN license in PA
• Previous experience in a pediatric, school, or community health setting
• Comfortable with diabetes care, inhaler administration, and routine medication distribution
