 Restaurant General Manager (Direct Hire)
Location: Beaumont TX
Compensation: $70,000+ DOE + Commission/Bonus Opportunities
Schedule: Full-time | 6am–3pm Daily

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's restaurant. As the leader of our team, you'll cultivate a positive and productive work environment, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive operational excellence and profitability. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Plan, direct, and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Staff Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise all staff (FOH & BOH).
  • Coach, motivate, and foster a high-performance environment.
  • Conduct manager meetings and regular staff evaluations.
  • Customer Service:
  • Guarantee 100% guest satisfaction, engaging with guests and addressing complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure managers are actively present on the floor interacting with tables.
  • Food Quality & Safety:
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and compliance with recipe specs.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food handling and Serve Safe standards.
  • Financial & Inventory Management:
  • Drive restaurant profitability through sales growth, budgeting, and analytics.
  • Manage labor costs, COGS, and inventory controls.
  • Analyze sales and performance metrics; understand and oversee P&L statements.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate on marketing efforts to enhance restaurant visibility and patronage.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork (sales, attendance reports, etc.).
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all company policies, health, safety, and TABC regulations. Qualifications & Skills
    • Minimum of 5–10 years progressive experience in restaurant management or commercial foodservice, including managing operations and staff.
    • Proven success in managing costs, labor, and financial planning.
    • Serve Safe and TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certifications required.
    • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
    • Ability to train, inspire, and motivate teams.
    • Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.
    • Flexible schedule openings, closings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
    Compensation & Benefits
    • Starting salary of $70,000+, based on experience
    • Commission/bonus opportunities
    • Full-time schedule: 6am–3pm daily
