Kelly® Engineering is seeking a R&D Robotics Engineer – Control Systems for an excellent direct hire position with an industry leader experiencing dynamic growth in Wakefield, MA. Robotics Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and similar electro-mechanical systems in an R&D environment.
  • Development of dynamic models, modeling and simulations in Matlab, and implementation of software on real-time platforms.
  • Controls-related machine design analysis and selection of actuators, sensors and other components.
  • Control system prototyping, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Thermal modeling and analysis.

Robotics Engineer Requirements:
  • MS Degree preferred in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautic or similar Engineering field
  • Understanding of Control Theory
  • Basic familiarity with C or C++
  • Experience in Matlab / Python or other programming languages for the purpose of data analysis
