Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Marketing Automation Specialist
Location: Fully Remote EST
Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Standard Business Hours Job Summary
Kelly is seeking a strategic and results-driven SFMC Marketing Automation Specialist to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will design, build, and execute data-driven campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, focusing on customer journey orchestration, audience segmentation, and campaign optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized experiences that drive measurable engagement and business results. Key Responsibilities

  • Journey Building: Create and manage automated, multi-step customer journeys using Journey Builder across email, SMS, and other channels.
  • Campaign Execution: Design, build, and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraging Email Studio, Automation Studio, and related SFMC tools.
  • Audience Segmentation: Manage subscriber data, develop targeted audience segments, and use dynamic content for personalized messaging.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor campaign metrics, conduct A/B tests, and analyze key performance indicators to optimize engagement and conversion outcomes.
  • Platform Management: Maintain Marketing Cloud functionality, enhance automations, filters, and data extensions as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and IT teams to gather campaign requirements and ensure seamless execution.
  • Technical Customization: Apply AMPscript, SQL, and basic HTML/CSS to deliver advanced personalization and efficient campaign logic.
  • Data Integration: Support data integration between Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and other systems to enable targeting and reporting.
  • Compliance & Deliverability: Ensure all campaigns adhere to regulatory standards (such as CAN-SPAM) and maintain high deliverability and engagement rates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2–4 years' hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce CRM and its integration with Marketing Cloud.
  • Proven experience in audience segmentation and dynamic content personalization.
  • Familiarity with AMPscript and SQL for advanced personalization and queries.
  • Excellent grasp of email marketing best practices, deliverability standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Superior communication skills and effective project management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud for audience enrichment and real-time personalization.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and dashboards.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for email design and customization.
