Description

Kelly Services is looking for a dedicated Sandblaster to join our team in Sanford, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces by removing paint, rust, and other contaminants using sandblasting equipment. Your work will be essential in ensuring that surfaces are properly prepped for finishing and coating processes.

Shift: 1st
Pay Rate: $18.50
Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare various materials and surfaces.
• Set up and adjust equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality and completeness.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of materials.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in sandblasting or similar roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
