Description

Kelly is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitization Technician I to join our dynamic team in Clayton, NC. If you are passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a pharmaceutical environment, we want to hear from you!

Pay/Hours:

$21/hr 2-2-3 Schedule 6am-6:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain aseptic areas and perform sanitizations and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Actively participate in and support event response initiatives.
- Review and provide input to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other essential documents as required.
- Train fellow employees in areas of expertise while proactively learning about systems and equipment outside of your own area of expertise.
- Record and review data in Batch Production Records (BPRs) and associated forms, utilizing Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of your duties.
- Undertake other accountabilities as assigned.

Process Alignment:
- Support and direct processes including Aseptic Core Sanitization, Cartridge Filling Line, Vial Filling Line, Wash & Sterilization, and Formulation.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- AAS degree in a related field is preferred.
- BioWorks certification is a plus.

- Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Aseptic processing experience is highly desirable.

- Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend complicated product documentation and SOPs with attention to detail.
- Computer literacy is essential.

Physical & Other Requirements:
- Ability to move equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility.
- Routinely operate and inspect manufacturing equipment using hands.
- Ability to stand for up to a 12-hour shift.
- Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and work in elevated positions.
- Ability to work around odorous and/or hazardous materials while wearing necessary protective gear.
- Must be able to work in loud noise environments with hearing protection.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and prolonged overhead work may be required.
