- Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday

What's a Typical Day as a Purchasing Clerk ? You'll be:
As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be a vital member of our Operations team. This onsite position is designed for a self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about quality and operational excellence. You will support our financial and logistical workflows, ensuring our manufacturing processes remain efficient and reliable.
Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Management: Coordinate the AP process by resolving exceptions and working closely with buyers for verification. Manage processing within the Client Dashboard, EXL OnBase System, and Metastorm.

Vendor & Internal Relations: Correspond with vendors to resolve open issues promptly and collaborate with internal departments on purchasing-related inquiries.

Compliance & Documentation: Maintain annual purchase order renewals for services to ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Logistics & Inventory Support: Assist with physical inventory counts, facilitate truck scheduling, and support the entry of sales orders.

Administrative Support: Manage the main phone line (answering and forwarding calls), facilitate the file storage process, and handle general filing.

Strategic Projects: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned to support the Operations team.

Essential Skills & Experience

Experience: 1+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) and/or manufacturing receiving administrative role.

Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently and manage a self-directed workload effectively.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and departmental coordination.

Technical Math Skills: Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), including working with fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to interpret bar graphs.

Detail-Oriented: An unwavering commitment to accuracy and excellent attention to detail.

Adaptability: The ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced production environment.
