Job Title: Selector
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Max Lift Requirement: Up to 80 lbs

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Selector with prior food warehouse selection experience and proficiency operating a standing electric pallet jack. This role is responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, palletizing, and staging products to support efficient and timely customer order fulfillment. Candidates must be able to work onsite during (7:00 PM–3:30 AM) on the assigned schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a standing electric pallet jack safely and efficiently throughout the shift.

  • Hand-select products from warehouse racking based on customer orders and company standards.

  • Operate an RF label unit to generate labels and properly apply them to selected products.

  • Build pallets according to proper selecting and stacking procedures (e.g., labels facing out, no heavy-on-light stacking).

  • Transport completed pallets to the correct dock locations for staging and loading.

  • Stretch-wrap pallets to secure products for transport.

  • Work in varying temperature environments, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer areas.

  • Maintain, inspect, and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pallet jack, RF scanner, and PPE.

  • Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections.

  • Maintain established productivity standards, accuracy goals, and safety practices.

  • Work at a constant, fast-paced pace for the entire shift to meet engineered production standards.

  • Develop familiarity with product types, warehouse placement, inventory processes, and order flow.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Previous food warehouse selecting experience is required.

  • Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to job duties and safety requirements.

  • Basic math and counting skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs consistently throughout the shift.

  • Adequate physical fitness to perform continuous standing, lifting, stacking, bending, and fast-paced movement.

  • Must be willing to work until all orders are completed, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Must be able to work (7:00 PM–3:30 AM) on the scheduled days: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
