Senior Accountant
Location: Goose Creek, SC
Salary: $75-90K
Schedule: Full Time

Kelly Services has partnered with a world class metal fabricator to find a Senior Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, developing, testing and implementing the company's financial and information systems.
  • Analyzing the current financial systems to determine what needs to be reconfigured, changed, re-engineered to streamline and develop best business practices in the company.
  • Performing periodic review of system access controls.
  • Preparing account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Reconciling various balance sheet accounts.
  • Supporting financial statement audit.
  • Preparing financial statement and other ad-hoc reports required by management.
  • Job costing, inventory valuations, and inventory allowances.
  • Interpret and implement GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Must have a bachelor college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Information Systems (associate degree meeting the other requirements will be considered).
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842 principles
  • Experience with an ERP system implementation required.
  • Experience with Epicor software financial systems a huge plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus.
