Description

  • Location: 100% in Melbourne, FL. This office will relocate to Orlando, FL, in early 2026. Candidates must be willing to work in both locations.
  • Work schedule:  Mon to Fri / 8 am to 5 pm
  • Contract: W2 contract under staffing supplier, 1-year duration (possible extension or convertion to perm hire, according to performance)
  • Pay rate: USD 40$ per hour
 

JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to provide first and second-level technical support to growing end-users across office and remote locations, ensuring all IT tools and systems run smoothly and optimally.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • End-User Support: Act as the main point of contact for users, providing a high level of customer service while troubleshooting and resolving basic to advanced hardware/software issues via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance.

  • Operational Management: Maintain the end-user working environment, including workstations (desktops/laptops), printers, video conference equipment, cellphones, and VOIP phones.

  • Ticketing & Documentation: Proficiently use a ticketing system (ServiceNow) to log all interactions, document detailed information, monitor queues, and escalate tickets to appropriate teams.

  • Proactive Maintenance: Analyze root cause problems, execute corrective actions, maintain security standards, and support asset management.

  • Collaboration: Work with a team of technicians, share knowledge, and coordinate with other IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues. Travel to other site locations may be required.


Minimum Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in IT with 3-5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Technical Skills:

    • PC hardware troubleshooting and repair skills required.

    • Formal Windows training/certifications and proficiency in maintaining standard IT environments.

    • Basic understanding of IT enterprise infrastructure (networks, systems, telephony, storage) and networking protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, etc.).

  • Communication: Fluency in professional written and spoken English.
