Job Title: Material Handler (Standing Reach Truck Operator)
Job Overview:
The Material Handler (Standing Reach Truck Operator) is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move goods within the warehouse. This role includes loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the secure and accurate storage of materials, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all safety protocols. The Material Handler may also assist with inventory control and other warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for the movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are moved efficiently and without damage.
• Store materials in their designated locations, following warehouse organization procedures.
• Inspect forklifts and other equipment regularly, perform basic maintenance, and promptly report any issues.
• Assist with cycle count and inventory control processes as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations and warehouse standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about material movement and job progress.
• Perform additional warehouse tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety regulations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
