Now Hiring: Shipping Lead (2nd Shift)
Location: Hazle Township, PA 18202- On-site (NOT A REMOTE ROLE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire (Not a Temp Role)

We're looking for a driven and organized Shipping Lead to join our warehouse operations team. In this role, you'll play a key part in verifying inbound materials, preparing outbound shipping documentation, coordinating carrier activity, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. This is a direct hire opportunity with full benefits, structured training, and room for advancement.

Interview Process:
Qualified candidates will go through a two-step interview process — one virtual interview and one onsite interview — before a final decision is made.

Mandatory Paid Training (Chicago, IL):
This role requires a 1-month, in-person training in Chicago, Illinois:

  • Weeks 1–2: On-site training in Chicago
  • Weekend break: Return home
  • Weeks 3–4: Resume training in Chicago
  • All travel expenses covered: Flights, hotel, and meals provided
  • Training attendance is required with no absences
Key Responsibilities:
  • Check in all inbound/outbound drivers and coordinate dock assignments
  • Prepare and review Bills of Lading (BOLs); ensure shipment accuracy against work orders
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods; manage returns if necessary
  • Sort, label, and document inventory for shipping and receiving
  • Track lost shipments and process proof-of-delivery documentation
  • Ensure all driver paperwork is complete, signed, and documented
  • Coordinate drop trailer activity and special shipping instructions with carriers
  • Communicate with customer service teams for special paperwork requirements
  • Maintain and update shipping reports and assist warehouse management with daily operations
  • Recommend and support process improvements as needed
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • At least 2-4 years of clerical or logistics experience
  • Basic knowledge of shipping, warehousing, and transportation
  • Ability to type at least 40 WPM (Must pass assessment test)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, (Must pass assessment test) and learn internal systems
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support warehouse staff
  • Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and work on-site in a warehouse office setting
  • English fluency (reading, writing, speaking)
